| i am LOVING life in residence.
On the not-so-loving side...I don't understand why Bio
lectures HAVE to be in the morning...i daresay that bio lectures are a
complete joke...A COMPLETE JOKE.
The temperature in my residence hall is currently higher than
that of a desert. 5 days ago we received an email informing us the
heaters in the building are not working as they should be...and
no...that does NOT mean that they arn't working at all...in fact...they
are heating this building at and i quote "80's"...80's degree? that i
don't know but we're all sitting in our rooms and roasting...

| At this moment in time, i am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for A-Levels for MANY reasons.

| The transition from KGV to Queen's is more difficult than i thought.
My current crises: not being able to understand the canadian terms used in class
Here are the unfamiliar terms that i've encountered during the first 4 days of class:
empirical formula = simplest formula
gradient = slope (this is not as big of a problem)
maths (prounounced with the 's') = math
a certain graph (presumably with a straight line through it) = horizontal blablablablabla...
sulphur = sulfur
aluminium = aluminum
NICE... = sweeeeet
...and many more...
anyways...this weekend which is the first weekend since school
officially started so happens to be "HOMECOMING" weekend (where alumni
and alumnae comes back to party all weekend...which means there will be
a huge football game (and i don't mean soccer football...i mean...rugby-like footballl) followed by a whole weekend of
partying...unbelivable...FIRST WEEKEND.
anyhows...my course requires me to take physics which is a subject that
i am totally impaired in...all i can say is...Uni. is some hardcore
experience...
maybe i should be doing some reading for physics...i think they're
teaching A-level physics which i totally do not get at all since i only
have the physics level of GCSE which really was bullshit physics...
bye.

| OMGoodness...yesterday we went to Earls for lunch and the moment i
walked in i noticed that EVERYONE who worked there was young (19 -late
20s) and that most of them were quite attractive.
The first guy i laid my eyes on was this verrryyy cute brunette
guy...then there was this hot-man-chef who looked like he was 30
(perrrfect)...but after a while i found the highlight of my day...from
afar there was a guy who's head was shaved and looked like a twin of
Ryan Gosling (need i say anymore?).
i'm staying at my cousins...and her 4 month old is like...the cutest
thing ever...he's sucha good baby...lets anyone carry him and hardly
ever cries...unless when he's strapped down to his car seat...
Okay...BYE.
